Damn him…

So, D got back into town last night. He was in North Carolina for business for a few days. It was his first time going to this site so he took pictures of the house his company owns. It’s really gorgeous and huge…on the lake…

Anyway, we’re at Chili’s last night and we’re looking at the pictures and I ask him how he’s going to get them onto the computer since we can’t find the cord for the camera.

He: Oh, I found the cord already.

She: WHAT?!

He: *laughing* Yeah, I found it a while ago.

She: So I’ve been tearing up the house looking for something that’s already found?!

He: *laughing*

She: So are the apartment pictures already on the computer?

He: Yeah, I’m pretty sure they are.

She: *laughing* You jerk.

He had the cord this whole time and didn’t bother to tell me. What a loser. Soooo, here are the pictures. D told me they’re not that good LOL but I wasn’t trying to be a photographer, dammit. Enjoy!

This is the front door. See how tall the ceilings are? LOVES it!

This has nothing to do with the apartment but this is my new baby. Only $150 at the Coach outlet. I could fit my car in this bag.

In our old apartment that TV seemed HUGE. Now we can barely see it. We might have to upgrade to a 60″…

Yes, this is some straight-up foolishness right here. It took us like 312 trips to the dumpster to get rid of these boxes.

Yeah. That couch we thought wouldn’t fit in the living room…yeah, it fits. Now we have all this room to spare and don’t know what to do with it.

View from the balcony. I took a better shot showing the actual apartments but then I thought…someone could find my house and try to kidnap me! LOL! The maroon car is mine and D’s white vanilla 300 is next to it. Look at that sad ass grass. I think we’re going through a drought right now. You can tell! LOL!

The kitchen. See the magnetic knife rack on the wall? Are either one of us a chef? No. Did we see that shit at Ikea and buy it cause it looked sweet? Yes! LOL!

The dining room table with our gorgeous place settings. You can probably tell we were/are going for an African theme in the living and dining room. Wait…is it fork, knife, spoon? Or knife, fork, spoon? Aw, fuck…that’s probably wrong.

The 2nd bedroom/office. Where all the drunken posting takes place. LOL!

Too many products. This is really a shame. That’s not even all of it.

Bathroom #1. It’s hard to tell how big it is but this shit is huge, man. Our color scheme in here is cream and brown.

The loves of my life. The washer and dryer are in a closet in Bathroom #1.

Big, big bed…itty bitty nightstand. Our bed is MASSIVE. If/when I fall out of it, I am DONE for.

Box o’ shoes. I haven’t yet figured out where I’m going to put them. There’s no more good space left in the master bedroom’s closet. I could put them in the 2nd bedroom’s closet. But then that would mean D would win alllll the master bedroom closet’s space for his shoes. And we do not let D win up and through here.

Ha! This is me after dealing with all that mayhem when we first moved in. Hair looking a hot ass mess, passed out somewhere. D took this pic…I don’t even remember it. LOL!

We have now been living in our apartment for a few weeks and it’s coming together nicely. No more empty boxes, we have books, pictures, etc. on the bookcases now. We still have tons more decorating to do, though. We have a lot of empty wall space and now that that corner is free of empty boxes we need something to put over there as well. I’ll keep you guys updated…but please put some decorating tips in my comments! We needs help, yall!
